Devoción, Flatiron
Devoción is a roaster cafe in Flatiron. I drew it for Coffee Shops of New York, my project to draw every coffee shop in the city. It appears on page 44 of my book.
About Devoción
The Flatiron cafe of Devoción, which sources its beans from Colombian farms and roasts them in Brooklyn, aiming to roast within days of the beans leaving origin. The large, busy room is filled with small tables and sofas, and the bar serves single-origin pour-overs and espresso.

I'm on a mission to draw every coffee shop in New York.
I’ve always loved coffee - but what I love even more is the ritual of sipping it in New York’s endlessly inspiring cafés. This city’s coffee culture is unlike anywhere else in the world. Every shop has its own character, its own community - friends catching up, first dates unfolding, writers lost in thought, creators building their dreams.
I earned my BFA from the School of Visual Arts here in New York, before working at DreamWorks Animation in Los Angeles, Magic Leap in Miami, and later starting my own venture-backed tech company. Yet no matter where I went, I felt pulled back to this city - the place that feels like home and fuels my creativity like nowhere else.
This book is my love letter to New York, told through drawings of its coffee shops, one by one. Each copy is a signed, limited-edition pre-order - and once they’re gone, they won’t be reprinted at this price.
